In February I had an arthroscopy and then made up my mind to go ahead with the knee replacement. This took place at Western Hospital, pre-op preparations were excellent and the staff were very patient with me especially getting up at 1am and walking up and down the passage. Post-op physio was very good taking time to explain the exercises I had to do on my return home. Sleeping in a recliner chair helped, enabling me to exercise and walk without disturbing my wife too much. Walking has been the best exercise. I congratulate Dr Nick on his skills as a surgeon.
